Odile

This piece was first drawn in ink on paper and then brought into photoshop to colour. I was inspired by the character, Odile in the 1981 anime film, Swan Lake as well as the Swan Lake ballet, the transformation animation from the 1994 film, Swan Princess and the transformation animation of Maleficent from Disney's Sleeping Beauty. In my research I found that Odile and Rothbart are associated with an owl in opposition to the swan protagonist so I depicted that above the character.
